About Namas'gray
The idea for creating Namas'gray was sparked several years ago by Carol Hansen Grey's yoga teacher, Laura Mullin, the owner of Clayton Yoga Shala in Clayton, CA. Carol had worn a t-shirt to her yoga class that was imprinted with the words "Namas'cray: the crazy in me recognizes and honors the crazy in you." They both had a laugh about it and Laura said "You need a t-shirt that says "Namas'gray" (since her last name is "Grey"). Again, they both laughed but the idea was planted. Carol went home that day and designed a t-shirt that looks like the header on this blog. She also set up a Namas'gray product line at cafepress.
That was the seed that started her thinking about all the many "elders" who have so much wisdom that they could be sharing with others but don't have the opportunity to do so. Thus, the idea of creating a blog where "elders" could share their wisdom with the world.
